The Spice Girls were one of the biggest girl groups in the world in the 1990s, becoming pop culture icons with their mantra “girl power”.
But Victoria Beckham has now revealed the moment she decided she needed to ‘stop (now)’.
Posh Spice said she realized it was time to move on to an Elton John concert in Las Vegas.
“It was a life changing moment – while singing and dancing was fun for you, it wasn’t your passion.”
Beckham went on to say, “That day you began your quest to find your own dreams. It was time to stop being a Spice Girl. ”
She described the first time venturing out on her own as “terrifying”.
“It was scary to close a chapter that defined you,” Beckham added.
Her first passion in attempting to “Spice Up Your Life” was fashion. She has since become a “Wannabe” beauty mogul in recent years.
Beckham believes that his future self will still be reinventing itself, taking on new challenges and “ignoring the naysayers.”
“What happens next? I’m dying to know.”
Although Posh Spice returned for a Spice Girls performance at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony, she chose not to join her former band mates on their final reunion tour in 2019.
