Former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham has revealed how singer Elton John motivated her to quit the group. The singer-turned-fashion designer reflected on how she was inspired to “discover her dreams” when she attended an Elton John concert.

Before becoming one of the big names in the fashion industry, Victoria Beckham was part of the girl group Spice Girls. She left the group in 2001 and continued her solo musical career. Beckham then launched his own fashion line that bears his name.

This letter continues just after the one she wrote to herself at 18 in 2017 for the same magazine. In that letter, she spoke about what it was like to be part of the Spice Girls.

Victoria Beckham was last seen with her group at the London 2012 Olympics. She was called in to perform with her former bandmates in 2018 but refused to do so.
