Valid is present at Mobile World Congress Las Vegas to present its new innovative eSIM solutions

Valid promotes a new consumer eSIM solution that leverages Strongbox functionality for non-telecom applications
This new eSIM solution for consumers is based on Valid’s eSIM operating system (OS), registered as mioSIM™ eSIM OS, and it is designed to help provision, identify, manage and securely connect devices to cellular networks, providing device manufacturers (OEMs) the ability to integrate SIM card functionality into their devices, by adding a high level of protection to them. The proven eSIM operating system is also a key feature on some of the world’s most widely used secure microcontrollers, and as such enables compliance with the latest GSMA specifications.
As a member of the Android Ready SE Alliance, Valid’s solution has non-telecom functionality as it comes preloaded with the Strongbox applet. This applet makes it possible to dispense with the implementation of a secure element above the eSIM, in particular during the development of connected objects. Additionally, this innovative solution offers OEMs the ability to increase the security level of their solution, leveraging Strongbox technology, and thus unlocking new secure use cases and helping them seize new revenue opportunities by differentiating their own applications.
