Microsoft Windows 10 users, I think for you. After a series of frustrating, limiting, chaotic and fairly bizarre update issues (and a whistleblower), one of the worst updates in a while has struck again.
Windows 10 updates continue to cause problems

Taken over by both TechDows and MSPoweruser, they warn that the update KB4517389 (which already causes problems in the Start menu, search and browser) now causes the dreaded blue screen of death (BSOD) on some PCs.
At this point, it’s not clear what is causing users to cite BSOD failures with cldflt.sys, Affinity applications, and more, but all have found that uninstalling KB4517389 fixes the problem, which pin the source directly to this already troubled update. Needless to say, the problem with a BSOD bug is that you may not have a chance to come back to your desktop to do this.
If you are, go to Control Panel> Programs> Programs and Features> Installed Updates> KB4517389> Uninstall
KB4517389 has already been deployed to millions of users, but for hundreds of millions of people who have not yet received it, use the Microsoft Show or Hide Updates tool to prevent it from installing on your PC.

But perhaps the most concerning thing about KB4517389 is Microsoft’s attitude towards it. Despite confirming previous problems with the update already, the official page KB4517389 still states that “Microsoft is currently not aware of any problems with this update”. This has happened before, and if someone relies on the update pages to make their update decisions, they could enter a world of evil.
To Microsoft’s credit, the company is about to make fundamental changes to Windows 10 updates, but the company’s bug-checking processes throughout the tests remain a concern. As a former Microsoft employee recently exposed in the video below:
Meanwhile, Windows 10 update issues continue to mount. By adding BSOD reports to the list, since September there are now startup failures, faulty prints, search and boot menu bugs (yes, again), USB and audio issues, discoloration screen usage, excessive CPU usage, and broken Internet connectivity.
With Microsoft now forcing one of its most buggy Windows 10 builds on users, I expect to be back with reports of more problems soon.
