On Wednesday, Palin dined at Elio’s, another Upper East Side Italian restaurant she also visited last week.
She was spotted in the heated outdoor area of the restaurant.
Anne Isaak, the owner of Elio’s, said it was against her “clearly expressed wishes that Sarah Palin dined out last night”.
Restaurant manager Luca Guaitolini said Palin returned to “apologize for the fracas around her previous visit”.
“As per the vaccine mandate and to protect our staff, we have seated her outside. We are a restaurant open to the public and we treat all civilians equally,” Guaitolini said.
While it’s true that New York’s vaccine requirements don’t apply to outdoor dining, the guidelines advise COVID-positive people to self-isolate for five days after their test.
