As the talented chief shoe designer of uin, Fernando Acevedo organizes a journey of inspiration specific to each season. One morning in the spring of 2014, Fernando and his wife Anna packed their bags and got ready to leave for the trip. Faced with the entire shoe cabinet, Anna was unable to decide which pair of shoes to wear. This scene immediately sparked design inspiration for Fernando. Why not design a pair of travel shoes? Since we need a pair of sneakers when we exercise, why can’t we have a pair of travel shoes when we travel? Finally, one sunset evening, along the shores of the ancient city of Toledo, Spain, Fernando has completed the creative idea of travel footwear that has been close to his heart for a long time – the original design in the shape of a bionic foot, with a minimalist one-piece upper combined with a strong Spanish-style artistic pattern, a ceramic made hand contoured sole with outsole designed by Toledo city, which goes perfectly with a pair of travel shoes!

uin has now launched nine series tailored to the needs of different customer groups, seasons and travel scenarios. Toledo slip-ons are still the recognizable flagship product for uin fans. The creative patterns as uin carriers are all designed based on the twelve series of uin patterns. uin has also expanded its partnerships with established artists and prestigious cultural institutions to roll out several collaborative collections – including Smiley Collection, Destination Collection and Blossom Collection – in hopes of sparking more inspiration for customers to express themselves. .
In its latest effort to diversify the brand’s identity, uin has created the “A Timeless Journey” collection in collaboration with the National Gallery, London. The nine-piece range blends the artistic essence drawn from some of the era-defining Impressionist paintings, such as Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, and by Claude Monet The water lily pond, with uin’s naturalistic themes, allowing guests to discover a different mode of expression.
