UFC fighter Kevin Holland, 29, has shocked the MMA world by announcing his sudden retirement from the sport. Moreover, he also had a poll from his fans for his next career choice.
Amazingly, it looks like he’s chosen his next career move. Holland recently shared an Instagram post in which he edited Hollywood actors Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart alongside him. He wrote, “Making moves #retiredlife #kevinhart #therock 📸 @adams.justin1,” implying his desire to work with them.
There are plenty of options for Holland to try his hand at after retirement. However, acting is something he can opt for as many retired UFC fighters have starred in a handful of films. Also, if he lands a minor role in Johnson and Hart’s film, it will be a great start for him.
As of now, nothing is confirmed, and it was just an Instagram post he shared, suggesting he opt for acting. “Trailblazer’s last fight was against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279. He quickly lost the fight and challenged Stephen Thompson a week before his retirement.
Holland turns 30 on November 5. As he is still young, he can move on to acting. Also, he can take advice from The Rock, who also transitioned from wrestling to acting around the same age.
Only time will tell what awaits Kevin Holland after the UFC. It’s not uncommon for combat sports icons to try their luck in Hollywood.
