The UFC joins NASCAR, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the PGA TOUR as the league’s partner in the campaign, which focuses on the fundamentals of responsible sports betting: budgeting and sticking to it, keep social betting, know the odds and play with trusted and regulated operators.
“As sports betting grows nationally, professional sports leagues are recognizing the need to educate fans and ensure they are betting safely,” said the president and CEO of AGM, Bill Miller. “We are grateful to see this campaign grow as progressive leagues like the UFC lend their considerable voice to this important effort. The UFC’s commitment is important in engaging, educating and encouraging its fans – some of whom may be betting for the first time – to bet responsibly. “
The AGA launched the Have A Game Plan campaign in 2019 to educate sports fans about the importance of responsible sports betting. In addition to the leagues, the UFC is also joining Monumental Sports and Entertainment, the Vegas Golden Knights and FanDuel as official campaign partners.
