Paydays for UFC 270 have been revealed by the California State Athletic Commission.
Francis Ngannou pocketed $600,000 for winning the undisputed UFC heavyweight title and his opponent, Cyril Gane, took home $500,000 in just his eleventh professional fight.

Francis Ngannou won the war of former sparring partners at UFC 270
The other title fight on the card saw Brandon Moreno earn $300,000 losing his UFC flyweight title to Deiveson Figueiredo, who took home $150,000.
The lowest amount paid to a fighter on the card was $10,000, which five different fighters took home.
Ngannou has spoken openly about wanting to compete in a boxing ring at some point and he offered to do so while under contract with the UFC.
The idea is that the UFC would co-promote their boxing fights the same way they did with Conor McGregor for his fight with Floyd Mayweather.
Ngannou says he wants to move on to the lucrative world of boxing
Ngannou is looking to face WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and the Gypsy King is interested, but being stuck in his UFC contract proves problematic and it strains his relationship with White.
The disparity is clear to all, however. Ngannou took home $600,000 for winning an undisputed heavyweight title fight. In heavyweight boxing, Fury reportedly earned $30 million from his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder.
It’s not hard to see why Ngannou wants to move on to the lucrative world of heavyweight boxing and he has adamantly told the UFC he won’t be fighting for $600,000 again.
“I won’t fight for $500,000, $600,000 anymore,” he told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. “It’s over. I took this fight for personal reasons and because I want to make sure that no matter (if) it’s unfair, (if) I’ve been treated badly, I can argue that I finished all eight fights.
UFC boss Dana White stands in the way of Ngannou fight with Fury
Ngannou and White are at odds over his new contract, a deal which is due to expire this year. If he had lost to Gane, he could have been a free agent.
However, due to a “champions cause”, Ngannou will remain in the UFC for another year.
The Cameroonian reckons he’ll face Fury in 2023 – when he’s a UFC free agent – and the money at stake will likely be twenty times what he earned in the biggest fight of his career at the UFC. ‘UFC.

In the NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB, athletes make between 48% and 52% of the revenue share generated by their teams and the league. UFC athletes get about 16% of the company’s profits.
When you consider that Fury made over 25 times more than the entire UFC 270 card – which was $1.8 million – it’s certainly food for thought.
