Did you have problems with Uber on Thursday? You weren’t alone.
Uber says the carpool service should work normally again after multiple users of its app have reported problems.
Most of the most recent comments on DownDetector indicate that users have problems running the application.
Uber had responded to several messages on Twitter, noting that it was trying to resolve issues with the app as soon as possible.
“Currently there is a known issue preventing users from becoming active using their app,” reads a tweet from the Twitter feed for Uber support. “Our technical team is already working on repairing this ASAP.”
In an updated statement, Uber says the problems have since been resolved.
“In the past few hours, a brief outage has prevented some runners from requesting travel,” Uber said in a statement. “The service has been restored, and all cyclists around the world have access to initial prices and can request travel as usual.”
