Tyson Fury and Nick Diaz were both in the gym helping each other out in videos posted to social media.
WBC heavyweight champion Fury has been in the United States for some time now and keeps social media up to date on his exploits.
He saw his friend Billy Joe Saunders lose to Canelo Alvarez in Texas and was in Miami where he was pictured with David Beckham.
Now the British heavyweight has trained with UFC legend Diaz and even called in Dana White to set up older brother Diaz’s next fight.
He said on Instagram: “I’m here with my boy – Nick ‘The Badman’ Diaz. We are working hard. We come for everything you ******* mom out there. You are fucking yourself. You better believe it.
“He’s absolutely breaking it. In great shape. Do the Dana fight. Fight. “
Diaz was seen in the crowd for UFC 261 where Kamaru Usman knocked out Jorge Masvidal.
The 37-year-old hasn’t competed in the Octagon since January 2015 when he lost to Anderson Silva, a bout which was later reversed after both fighters failed drug tests.
Diaz served a suspension for failing the test and was also suspended by USADA for failing to report his whereabouts on three occasions.
But now it looks like he could make a shock comeback.
“Nick wants to fight,” UFC President Dana White said after UFC 261.
When asked if he was going to give him a fight, White replied, “Sure. We will see how it goes. He’s waiting for me in the back right now.
Fury, meanwhile, is preparing to take on Anthony Joshua in the highly anticipated heavyweight showdown, albeit without any official confirmation.
Eddie Hearn has confirmed that the fight will likely take place on August 14 with Saudi Arabia as the likely venue.
