Despite the rapper’s stellar performance, many festival-goers consider this year’s Splendor in the Grass to be one of the worst live music experiences in recent memory.

As many as 50,000 revelers attended the world famous three-day festival over the weekend – despite torrential rain turning the lush park into a mud pit.

Friday’s first day was canned after heavy rain saw organizers close campgrounds due to large parts being submerged.

The second day went by, but management seemed unprepared for the number of people leaving en masse after the final act, with customers forced to wait until 6 a.m. for a bus to bring them back at their campsite.

“It’s survival of the fittest,” one customer told Daily Mail Australia.

A festival-goer named Steph said she and her friends left the Gold Coast on Thursday to sit in the queue heading to Splendor for 11 hours.

After waiting three and a half hours, his car only reached the front door, but there was still no sign of entry.

“We asked another member of staff what we should do and she said ‘I don’t know’ and that she was supposed to finish hours ago, but no one told her,” Steph said. .

“She was so cold and wet that she was holding a hot water bottle and the volunteers and staff were given no food.”

Another party girl from Brisbane said she had been to four previous Splendor festivals but would not be returning after this year.

“The queues for the toilets were so long… A girl in front of me kept throwing up. We called someone to bring us water, [but were] ignored… A guy near me passed out, we were calling a doctor… and there was no one there,” she said.

Social media has been flooded with complaints accusing organizers of being unprepared, including forcing them to issue official apologies for bus delays.

In a statement on Sunday, organizers said everyone left the venue by 3.30am, with people racking up fresh criticism after the heavy-handed response.
