NEW YORK, January 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The ExCo group, a global senior leadership development companyannounced that brigadier general Ty SeiduleUS Army (retired), joined the company as Senior Advisor.
Seidule is a veteran, author, advisor, lecturer and professor emeritus of history and former head of the history department at the United States Military Academy at West Point. During his 36-year career in the military, Seidule served as an armor and cavalry officer in war and peace all over the world.
Ty Seidule joins ExCo Group as Senior Advisor
As a senior adviser to the ExCo Group, Seidule talks about topics such as trust in the workplace, leadership throughout history, understanding diversity throughout history, difficult conversations, institutional change, culture change and the use of personal stories.

A leader in digital and public history, Seidule is the creator and co-publisher of the award-winning four-volume digital learning series, History of the West Point War. Seidule has also partnered with Apple and Google to create digital history initiatives, including virtual and augmented reality apps, as well as massive open online courses. His short video, Was the Civil War Related to Slavery has over 30 million views on social media, making it the most-watched history lecture in history. He also created and served as editor for digital West Point’s Guide to the Civil Rights Movement and The West Point Guide to Gender and War.

He is also Presidential Advisor to the National Museum of the Second World War in New Orleans and is a New America Fellow. Seidule is a history teacher at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
