No one knows for sure what’s going to happen with Beyoncé, but fans are pretty sure it’s something big. On Friday, June 10, all of her profile pictures on her social media accounts suddenly disappeared. Now, when you go to the music artist’s Instagram page, his profile picture is a blank gray figure. She hadn’t posted since March either, then suddenly dropped a bunch of new photos of her fantasy fashion on the timeline the same week.
Some fans then noticed that on Beyoncé’s website, a funny thing happens when you type in the date, June 11. A black image with Beyoncé’s name captioned “Image, B7” appears. It also appears when users search for “June 10”, according to Vulture. This mysterious message makes Bey Hive think that her seventh album is about to be released. In support of these rumors, her mother, Tina Knowles, recently like a post that references these clues. Beyoncé’s last album was the hit Lemonadereleased in 2016, fans have been waiting for a while.
In August 2021, she made the cover of Harper’s Bazaarand gave a little insight into her music-making process and what a new Beyoncé album might look like.
“With all the isolation and injustice of the past year, I think we’re all ready to escape, travel, love and laugh again,” she said. “I feel a renaissance emerging and I want to help nurture that escape in any way I can.”
She continued, “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes me a year to personally search through thousands of sounds to find the right kick or snare. A choir can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Yet nothing beats the amount of love, passion and healing I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it’s as exciting as when I was nine. Yes, the music is coming!
