During the first half of Sunday’s game against the Bills, Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit his head on the grass. When he got up, he was dizzy and disoriented.
The team took him straight to the locker room for an assessment, bypassing the touchline medical tent. It looked like he would be done for the day.
Turns out he’s back. He returned to action in the first practice of the third quarter.
We are working to get an explanation of how and why he was allowed to return. Usually, when a player exhibits the kind of reaction Tua showed, he’s done for the day – for his own good.
