Trump to travel to Tennessee following deadly tornadoes
President Donald Trump will travel to Tennessee on Friday to see the damage caused by the devastating tornadoes that hit the Nashville area on Tuesday morning. The storm killed at least 25 people and damaged or destroyed dozens of homes, businesses, schools and churches in four counties. “Our hearts are full of grief for the lives lost,” Trump said in a speech to the National Association of Counties on Tuesday. Like the presidents before him, Trump has often visited disaster and tragedy sites in the role of “chief comforter.” He has visited cities that have been shot and examined the damage caused by hurricanes in Puerto Rico, Florida, Texas and the Carolinas.
Lori Vallow, mother of missing children, to appear in court
Idaho’s mother Lori Vallow, whose children have been missing since September, is scheduled to appear before a judge Friday after her extradition from Hawaii. For the past three months, Vallow and her new husband have been living in Hawaii with no signs of the missing children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17. Lori Vallow, 46, is charged with the offense of criminal child offense, contempt of court and other charges. Police in Rexburg, Idaho said in December that they thought “the lives of Joshua and Tylee are in danger”. The case is linked to several suspicious deaths in several states and to allegations of sectarian religious beliefs.

Hulu series dives into Hillary Clinton’s life
With a CV as long as Hillary Clinton’s, it’s no wonder it took 35 hours to unpack it. Friday, the four-part “Hillary” docuseries, with in-depth interviews with the presidential candidate, feminist icon and lifelong lightning rod, are broadcast on Hulu. The documentary is a complete look at Clinton’s life, from his childhood in a Chicago suburb to the 2016 presidential election, through his tumultuous campaign and his shocking loss to Donald Trump. Clinton tells USA TODAY that filmmaker Nanette Burstein sold her the idea of placing her story in historical context. “Even if it was incredibly intense, it was worth it because I was interviewed by someone who had really digested everything there was to ask me,” she said.
The new Pixar creation ‘Onward’ magically appears in cinemas
Pixar’s latest animated creation “Onward” is similar to previous studio movies in that it’s fun, with big stars in Marvel superheroes Tom Holland and Chris Pratt and he’s not afraid to make you cry. But as Brian Truitt from USA TODAY wrote (★★★ out of four), “There is a different style at play than the usual super-slick Pixar cartoon.” Instead, “Onward” (rated PG), in theaters across the country on Friday, “enlists a bunch of brotherly love and a retro and free sense of humor” and presents a previously magical landscape that has evolved in the suburbs modern. Holland plays the role of the teenage elf Ian, endowed with a magic staff and an enchantment to spend 24 hours with the father who died before Ian’s birth. Pratt expresses big brother Barley, with whom Ian sets off on an epic quest after their fate has gone wrong and only half of their father is mentioned.
