Recently, after the match between Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson, Diaz appeared at the UFC 279 post-fight conference. Diaz again shot Project Rock shoes, which will be considered a direct shot at Dwayne Johnson.
Diaz said “I screwed up my leg fighting Tony. I blocked a bunch of kicks. My leg blew like a monster and I put this fucking ice on my shoe because I had a ball on my shin. It ran all over my sock and sucked my whole fucking shoe.
He added, “What the fuck? He’s a soaked Travis Scott. They should have given them to get out”
Diaz praised the Tavis Scott brand shoes during the press conference. This wasn’t the first time Diablo had taken an interest in Project Rock shoes. A few hours ago he said he didn’t like the Johnson brand.
Prior to the fight, Diaz in an interview with ESPN said, “These shoes are shit. Look at these shoes they made me put this shit on.
However, this part was cut from the original interview video. A Twitter user then shared this part in his tweet.
What is the real dispute between Nate Diaz and Dwayne Johnson?
The feud between Nate Diaz and Dwayne Johnson started when The Rock came to UFC 244 to present the BMF Championship. They fixed the match between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. However, after losing to Masvidal, he became furious with The Rock.

Diaz fires up at the post-fight press conference about The Rock backing Masvidal. He stated: “He’s on that side. Fuck him. I’m from the west coast side. Mike Tyson should have been there anyway. He’s the baddest man on the planet, isn’t he?… He should have been the one.

Additionally, Johnson then gave his take on Diablo’s comments. The Rock said he trains with Masvidal often and has a connection with him from Miami. He therefore claims that Diaz’s anger did not shock him. Since then, there have been instances of the 37-year-old UFC fighter taking shots at The Rock and yet again he did the same.
