Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster downplayed speculation that he might be at Tottenham. The former Manchester United man is no longer under contract at the end of the season and Jose Mourinho is said to be eyeing the 36-year-old as the perfect man to provide competition and support for Hugo Lloris next season. Foster joined talkSPORT on Monday afternoon, just after helping to stop Liverpool’s undefeated run, and asked about the Spurs’ ties, he replied, “It’s a complete paper conversation. But, I am out of contract in summer. There is nothing yet [a new contract offer from Watford] but it’s not something that I really think too much about. “FULL STORY HERE

David de Gea was nicknamed “arrogant” by talkSPORT host Jamie O’Hara following his latest blunder against Everton on Sunday. The Manchester United goalkeeper took too long to start the ball as he bounced off Dominic Calvert-Lewin and into the back of the net at Goodison Park. It’s De Gea’s seventh mistake that has led to a Premier League goal since the start of last season. (FULL STORY)
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could only receive minimal summer transfer funds if the club did not qualify for the Champions League next season. The Gunners, who have a game in hand over their rivals, are currently eight points behind Chelsea, fourth, with 11 games left. Arsenal have made improvements since Arteta replaced Unai Emery in December, but a top four ranking seems unlikely at this point. And that means that Arteta may have to sell before it can buy, with ePierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette among those in a hurry to seal off. (Goal)
Manchester United are among the many clubs to keep an eye on Crystal Palace forward Alexander Sorloth. The 24-year-old, who joined the Eagles for £ 9 million in Midtjylland in January 2018, plays on loan with Turkish club Trabzonspor, scoring 19 goals in 23 league games. It was a remarkable turnaround for Sorloth, who failed to score a Premier League goal in 16 appearances for Roy Hodgson’s team. Man United and Sheffield United have reportedly sent scouts to verify Sorloth in recent weeks. (The sun)

Danny Murphy thinks Manchester United can sell Paul Pogba because they have the “sensational” Bruno Fernandes in their ranks. Fernandes has scored three goals and two assists in six games since joining the Red Devils at Sporting Lisbon in January. Meanwhile, Pogba continues to be linked to an exit from Old Trafford amid long-term interest from Real Madrid. (FULL STORY)
Manchester United leads the way to recruit Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, despite competition from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. The Senegalese international is valued at £ 100 million and could form a great partnership with Red Devils captain Harry Maguire. Koulibaly is considered one of the best defenders in Europe. Chelsea’s goal, Dries Mertens, is approaching a new deal in Naples. The 32-year-old forward, who is out of contract this summer, was linked to a move in January to Stamford Bridge. However, he remained in Naples and continues to be one of the first names on the team sheet. Mertens has scored 90 goals in 226 appearances since joining PSV Eindhoven in Naples in 2013. (The sun)
Daniel Sturridge’s contract with Trabzonspor has been terminated mutually. The 30-year-old only managed four goals in 13 appearances as he struggled to stay in shape. The former Liverpool striker is unable to join a Premier League club as a free agent as his contract was still active during the January transfer window, while he was also banned of four months of all football in the world following a successful appeal from the FA on its violation of betting rules.
