The brave nine-year-old Perth girl who won hearts at Taylor Swift’s Sydney concert has died.

Scarlett Oliver, who was battling a serious form of brain cancer known as high-grade glioma, became an internet sensation after sharing a candid moment with the pop superstar during her performance.

Her father, Paul, shared the sad news through an emotional post on Instagram, expressing his deep grief and the void left by his daughter’s death.

‘My Angel, so strong, so courageous, so beautiful ❤️ Nothing will ever be the same again. Don’t forget about me and find a way to let me know you’re okay. Good night baby, I love you – Dad. It’s just not fair,” his post read.

Scarlett’s journey into the spotlight happened when she attended one of Swift’s sold-out concerts at Sydney’s Accor Stadium in late February.

The girl who created one of the most memorable moments on Taylor Swift’s Australian tour has died, just weeks after her dream meeting with the superstar.

On the opening night of Swift’s three concerts in Sydney, Scarlett was chosen to participate on stage during a performance of Swift’s hit single 22.

However, the weeks that followed this joyous meeting were fraught with health problems for Scarlett.

Earlier this month, her father revealed on social media that Scarlett was not doing well, saying she had “weeks rather than months” to go.

He detailed the challenges she faced, including complications from a feeding tube and extreme fatigue, which led to a significant seizure right after she was released from the hospital.

“Scarlett received a ‘Wish’ from the Make A Wish Foundation and her wish was to meet Taylor Swift,” Natalie wrote in the post.

“Unfortunately, they told us it wasn’t possible, so through the power of social media and generous people, we arranged to attend the concert and got tickets.”

She then shared a photo of Scarlett, who has just 12 to 18 months to live, holding a poster that read, “Taylor, can I have the 22 hat please?”

Later, at the concert, the girl’s wish was Taylor’s command.
