Tottenham duo Emerson Royal and Lucas Moura showed Richarlison no mercy in a recent FIFA game, taunting him with their own pigeon celebration.
The Brazil international was enjoying some time out with his compatriots by playing FIFA 23 with another friend.
Emerson Royal and Lucas Moura mocked Richarlison by copying his celebration
The duo had just scored against him on FIFA 23
It seemed like a two-on-two game, with both teams using, naturally, Tottenham.
And a clip of the foursome playing has gone viral with Lucas and Emerson scoring against their club and international teammate.
It looked like a pretty scrappy goal from just yards out, but it did little to drown out the celebrations, especially from Emerson who shouted in delight.
The right-back then got up from his chair with Lucas and they both did the pigeon celebration made famous by Richarlison.
Known as the Pombo dance in Brazil, the move comes from a relatively unknown pop group in the country called Os Perseguidores.
Richarlison did the dance in celebration after scoring his first goal for Brazil in 2018 and the striker has repeated it many times for club and country since.
After moving from Watford to Everton in 2018, Richarlison explained his little bop.
Richarlison wasn’t too happy with the celebration
He said at the end of the transfer to Goodison Park: “The pigeon dance came from a band from Rio de Janeiro who had a song around 2012.
“A trend started when I did the dance at home. Everyone started copying me.
“I think I helped the band’s profile grow because of that. I hope to score goals and do the dance I promised, the pigeon dance.
Richarlison has since swapped Everton for Tottenham after joining them last year for a fee of up to £60m.
However, fans have yet to see their new man do the pigeon dance in the Premier League – where he failed to score a goal for Spurs in 13 appearances.
The 25-year-old did, however, score two Champions League goals in a crucial victory over Marseille to help them qualify as the celebration dominated the World Cup headlines.

Richarlison did a pigeon dance with boss Tite also involved in the World Cup celebrations
After scoring for the Selecao against South Korea in a 4-1, Richarlison and his teammates ran to the bench to find manager Tite where they all took out the Pombo.
This provoked backlash from various pundits including Roy Keane who called it disrespectful to their opponents.
Now, however, it is Richarlison who is disrespected – and by his own teammates too.
No doubt he will plot his revenge.
