A Tottenham fan told talkSPORT Eric Dier “completely lost” and was “like the Incredible Hulk” when he faced a supporter after the Spurs’ FA Cup outing in Norwich.
Social media collapsed Wednesday evening after a host of videos and photos were posted of Dier jumping over the barrier and climbing into the stands to apparently confront a fan who was angry after seeing his team being beaten drop from cup to penalty shootout.
According to Jose Mourinho, however, Dier was rushing to defend his brother, who appeared to have been scrapped with another supporter.

A number of video clips have emerged from the online incident, but none really show all of what happened.
Neil was a regular at White Hart Lane, so he watched the whole thing happen, and he called the Sports Bar on Wednesday night to share what he had seen.
“Everything happened right in front of us,” he told talkSPORT.
“There were two guys fighting after the game, they were in the crowd pushing and trying to fight, and, I don’t know, but it looked like it could have been his brother – that’s what Mourinho said.
“But then Eric Dier lost the plot, and the next thing you know is that he’s going up the stairs. There must have been about 20 fans trying to hold him back, he was like the Incredible Hulk.
“It was really sad to see in fact; he lost the plot, lost it, and I’m sorry for him. He also had a good game.
“There was a Spurs fan who obviously did something or said something, that’s what Eric Dier was looking for.
“A Spurs fan then raised his hands and tried to get out of the ground and Dier just chased after him and went to the banana.
“Like I said, I felt sorry for him. He lost it, completely lost.
“There were people holding him back, there were phones on his face, we have videos, it’s everywhere on social networks.
“He’s in big trouble now.”
