Western Pa. is becoming the second home of Hollywood movie star Tom Hanks.

After filming his Fred Rogers in the Pittsburgh area in 2019, Hanks will be back in February to shoot a new movie called “A Man Called Otto,” as reported by KDKA-TV.

The lucky filming location is centered in the historic district of Bellevue in Allegheny County.

Bellevue Borough Police told KDKA that production began erecting sets on Gilliland Place, a scenic historic section along the Ohio River.

Cameras are set to roll in February, with filming expected to last until the end of March, KDKA reports.

Following the filming, local police are advising residents to be aware of parking restrictions at filming locations throughout this time.

“Production equipment and vehicles will use much of Shiloh Avenue during the project,” Bellevue Borough Police said. “The Laurel and Irwin Avenue areas will be reserved for residential parking, and on-site logistics staff are developing identification markers for residents’ vehicles. Signs will be posted today on Shiloh Ave indicating the dates and days that parking will be restricted.

“A Man Called Otto” is described as a remake of the 2015 Swedish film based on novelist Fredrik Backman’s novel, “A Man Called Ov.” The film will follow “a grumpy retiree” who “forms an unlikely friendship with his rowdy new neighbors,” according to IMBb.
