The Colts won the first meeting with the Titans by a score of 34-17, as Philip Rivers passed to eight different wide receivers while passing for a total of 308 yards and a touchdown. The Titans’ downfall came via special teams, as their reserve punter threw a punt, blocked one for a touchdown and kicker Stephen Gostkowski also missed a 44-yard field goal attempt in the second half after having converted on a 50 yard earlier in match.
Both teams have huge overtime wins, as the Titans beat the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 30-24 and the Colts beat the Green Bay Packers, 34-31. Derrick Henry carried Tennessee to victory again, registering 133 rushing yards and the winning touchdown, while the Colts fought from a 14-point deficit to escape with the victory. Rookie kicker Rodrigo Blankenship was in gear, as he made 4 of 5 field goal attempts, including the game winner from 39 yards, and also converted on his two extra point attempts.

Overview
The Colts lead the all-time series with the Titans, 35-16, and have won four of the last five games. One team doesn’t come into this game with more momentum than the other, but the Titans surely want to avenge their loss to the Colts earlier this year. Henry has recorded six games in which he has run over 100 yards this season, which is the most in the NFL. He’s aiming for three in a row with over 100 rushing yards against the Colts, and has rushed for a touchdown in two of the last three games against Indy. The game where he didn’t score a touchdown was the game earlier this season, but he still racked up 103 rushing yards. It proved that Henry couldn’t win every game on his own and that the special teams had to be ready to play well this Sunday if the Titans are to tie the season with the Colts and regain the top spot in the AFC South. .

The Titans have been swept aside by the Colts several times over the past few seasons, but I don’t think that will happen in 2020.
