Since the release of MidnightsIt’s become clear how many people have Taylor Swift fever, based on these record sales and the millions of people who tried to get tickets for her Eras tour. Now it seems a major Swiftie is none other than Virgin River star Alexandra Breckenridge’s husband, Casey Hooper, who recently performed one of the songstress “Cardigan” for a good cause.
Breckenridge promoted her hubby earlier this month, when she shared a post on her Instagram and wrote, “If you’re so inclined to tune in for a good cause [heart emoji]. My husband Casey Hooper will lend his talents today. Link in bio.”
The graphic Breckenridge included was from the Songs For Kids Foundation, which, according to their site, “provides musical mentorship and interactive programs for children and young adults with illnesses, injuries and disabilities.” And for this particular event, which took place on November 12 and 13, all 174 Swift songs were performed by children and adults.
Clips of the various performances were posted on SFK’s official Instagram account, such as the video below which shows a rendition of Swift’s song, “This Is Me Trying.”
Breckenridge’s fans showed their love in the comments, with one user writing, “Thank you Alex for sharing and Casey for putting smiles on all the kids’ faces.” Others were very happy to learn that the Virgin River The actress enjoyed TayTay’s music, as another fan said, “I DID NOT KNOW I COULD LOVE YOU MORE BUT YOU’RE A SWIFTIE.”
Cooper is certainly very involved in the music business. As a guitarist, the musician has led many Katy Perry concerts, even playing guitar for her Super Bowl performance. And he and Breckenridge met at a Grammys after-party in 2012. They’ve been married since 2015 and share two kids: Jack, 6, and Billie, 4.
