Taylor Swift’s 2014 album, 1989, has been on the Billboard 200 album chart for 300 weeks, a record.
According to Billboard, the singer now becomes one of the four women to achieve this feat.
“1989 debuted at No.1 on the chart dated November 15, 2014, and has rarely been absent from the list since joining: he’s been on the chart for 300 of the 307 weeks since he bowed [sic]», Writes the publication.
Taking the place of Taylor’s fifth studio album, 1989 brought us successes like Shake, Empty space, Wildest dreams and Bad blood.

In its 300th week on the Billboard charts, the album ranked at number 116.
Other female artists who have spent at least 300 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart are Adele with her album 21 (482 weeks), Lana Del Rey with Born to die (364 weeks) and Carole King with Tapestry (318 weeks).
