Thiago Silva has not forgotten what Daniel Amartey did after the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Chelsea took revenge for their loss to Leicester in the Wembley showdown with a huge 2-1 victory on Tuesday night, giving the Blues control of the race for Champions League qualification.
There is certainly no love lost between the two teams and tensions boiled over towards the end of the game.
A tough challenge from Leicester’s Ricardo Pereira over former team-mate Ben Chilwell prompted a reaction from both sets of players and both benches, led initially by Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger.
It was really a case of punches and it all started to calm down, until Blues defenseman Silva spotted Foxes replacement Amartey.
Leicester were forced to apologize after Amartey was caught on camera throwing a Chelsea pennant to the ground during post-match celebrations in the Wembley dressing room on Saturday.
And Silva, usually not one to lose his temper, was visibly enraged when he saw Amartey yell at him and angrily point the Ghanaian’s face.
In the end, Amartey was the only player to come out of the crash with a reservation, although he had no part in the game itself.
Speaking whether the Amartey incident affected the attitude of Chelsea players, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel said: “I haven’t talked about it.
“I know there was an incident, but I didn’t talk about it before the game or in any meeting.
“I’m not doing that but I think the players were well aware of it.”
