NEW DELHI: smartphone manufacturer Oppo announced that he was going to deploy Android 11 update to more smartphones in India this month.
The company has confirmed that the Oppo a53 and the Oppo F17 will start receiving Android 11 updates by June 17 and June 26 respectively. These devices will also receive the ColorOS 11 beta update this month with Oppo A54 and Oppo reno, which will receive updates starting June 16 and June 29, respectively.
Apart from the smartphones mentioned above, Oppo also said that the Oppo A52, A5 2020, A9 2020, F11, F11 Pro, F11 Pro Marvels Avengers Limited Edition, F15, F17 Pro, Find X2, Reno 10x Zoom, Reno, Reno2 F, Reno2 Z, Reno2, Reno3 Pro, Reno4 Pro have started to receive the official version of ColorOS 11.
Oppo also mentioned that the 3GB RAM variants on Oppo A5 2020 and Oppo A9 2020 will not get the latest software update due to low RAM storage.
With ColorOS 11, Oppo smartphone users will be able to experience new user interface customizations like three-finger translation, FlexDrop, private system and more. Along with this, users will benefit from the various features of Android 11 such as default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, single authorization for apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Recently, Oppo confirmed that it will launch a new smartwatch soon. Oppo has revealed that it will be launching the Oppo Watch 2 series smartwatch. The teaser image shared by the company confirms that the smartwatch will come with a square dial. The company also confirmed that it has partnered with Ambiq for the Apollo 4s low-power chip that promises to deliver long battery life to the device.
