6 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Again working with director Michael Bay, Fox plays the character of journalist April O’Neil, who seeks to find her story any way she can. In her role as a human ally of the group of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, she teams up with them (disassociating herself from her recent task of exposing the group) in order to eliminate opposition to the planting of a single device that could destroy human existence entirely. Megan Fox was a longtime fan of the franchise and enjoyed getting into it without the culture-attributed gratuitous sexuality producers usually use it for.

5 Jennifer’s body

Jennifer Check is a demonic possession movie at its finest, both figuratively and literally. In the film, Jennifer is primarily associated with the stereotypical, sexy high school girl that all the guys want to date but can’t have. It’s not until she becomes possessed (thanks to the group Low Shoulder, who dragged her into the woods and performed a demonic sacrifice to Satan in exchange for mainstream fame), that she begins to show signs of possession, by killing and eating men, to satisfy his appetite for human flesh. This cult horror-comedy features some of Fox’s finest acting to date.

4 Transformers

If you like super-fast vehicles that transform into talking beings the size of a New York skyscraper, then Transformers and Transformers: Revenge (in which Fox was oddly forced to gain weight) is 100% for you. Mikaela Banes (Fox) helps the Autobots, along with her boyfriend Sam (Shia Labeouf), defeat the Decepticons. Mikaela’s character is seen through the lens of a conventional beautiful girl, until we later learn her character’s backstory which is both intriguing and unorthodox, coupled with her infatuation with cars.

3 Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

Meeting a bunch of mean girls in high school is literally hell on earth, and Fox stars as a T in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Carla Santini, the antagonist of Mary “Lola” Elizabeth Cep (Lindsay Lohan), aims to make Lola’s life hell in any way she sees fit. As the most popular girl in school, Carla uses her glut of resources to knock Lola off after her selection, instead of Carla to play Eliza in the play “Eliza Rocks”.

2 Thug

The action thriller Thug follows a group of soldiers tasked with carrying out a dangerous mission by rescuing hostages in a remote place in Africa. Overall, the film is a marked departure from the past roles that Fox was known for playing before, where Samantha’s character is emotionally involved throughout every challenge she faces. Megan is a solid lead in the film, as her character Samantha is fearless and stands up against ruthless captors.

1 Until death

Let’s start by saying marriage isn’t worth the headache Emma is going through. Until death. You see, single life isn’t so bad after all. When Mark decides to take Emma on an impromptu romantic getaway, the couple’s tenth anniversary celebration turns into sheer madness once Emma wakes up with Mark’s corpse, as she is also handcuffed. Emma basically has to fight for her life, while not trusting what she initially thought her marriage was, until everything unexpectedly changes. Megan Fox stuns with perhaps her best performance, in this excellent recent thriller.
