Who else but Nate Diaz? Stockton’s pride had the bettors against him a week ago, but after going through the type of mayhem he lives for, he came out and beat Tony Ferguson, ending the fight in the fourth round and giving fight fans the whole world something to rejoice. It was old school from start to finish, and if this was his last time in the UFC octagon, what a ride it was. But I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of Nate on the big show, and that’s a good thing, because he’s always been a no-nonsense warrior who never let the fans down. And yes, the fact that he went to the Stones’ “Gimme Shelter” was unforgettable.
