Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson could be “the union people are looking for” if he runs for president, according to his former WWE pal The Undertaker.
Johnson’s job in professional wrestling has seen him grow to be one of WWE’s most beloved superstars, and he has twice become the highest-paid Hollywood actor due to his roles in films like Baywatch, the Fast and the Furious and Jumanji franchise.
But the 48-year-old could be just as successful in a third career if he turned to American politics, Mark Calaway, also known as The Undertaker, told TMZ Sports this week.
“This man works his cock and he dives with all his heart into everything he does and if he understands that he wants to make a run in politics you know what? I think he will,” said The Undertaker.
When asked if he could heal a divided country given the hostile political climate of modern America, he added, “I think so. He’s so charming, he’s so witty, I think he is. he can be the unifier that people are looking for.
“I know he has charisma. Maybe all it would take would be an eyebrow, and he would look left, raise an eyebrow. Look right, raised an eyebrow and hit ‘them with’ the elbow of the people. ‘”
The Rock said in an interview with USA Today earlier this month that he “would consider a presidential election in the future if that’s what the people wanted.”
The Rock attended the Democratic National Convention and the Republican National Convention in 2000.
He voted for Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, did not vote in 2016, and as of 2017 is an independent voter.
Although he has already registered as a Republican, in 2020 he endorsed Joe Biden for the 2020 election.
