The Nissan Ariya is much cheaper for 2024

Nissan is lowering the prices of its 100% electric Ariya crossover. The SUV is a minimum of $3,575 cheaper for the 2024 model year. The big news comes higher up the Ariya lineup, where most trims are nearly $6,000 cheaper than before.

The 2024 Nissan Ariya starts at $39,590. This gives you an Engage car that powers only the front wheels with a 63 kilowatt-hour battery. This version and its all-wheel-drive equivalent cost nearly $3,600 less than before.

All other trims cost $5,975 less for 2024. They would be even cheaper if Nissan hadn’t raised its destination charge slightly, from $1,365 to $1,390. Still, a $25 rise doesn’t far make up for a nearly $6,000 drop.

Here’s a full pricing breakdown of the Ariya trims for 2024 and how they compare to 2023. All prices include destination charges.

Nissan does not identify any specific changes to the Ariya for 2024. Models feature an 87 kilowatt-hour battery, except for the entry-level Engage which uses a 63 kWh battery. FWD models have 214 horsepower, while AWD versions offer 389 horsepower. Unfortunately, the supercharged Ariya Nismo revealed earlier this year isn’t destined for North America.

“As the electric vehicle market continues to develop and grow, the revised pricing of the 2024 Ariya will improve the competitiveness of the model and ensure that we deliver maximum value to our customers,” said Trisha Jung, Senior Director of the strategy and transformation of electric vehicles at Nissan.
