  • Tributes have poured in for American rapper Chris King, who was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee. King was 32 years old.
  • He was friends with Justin Bieber, Trippie Redd and other musicians. The California rapper also lived briefly with Bieber.
  • He participated in an attempted armed robbery while with friends; he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Tributes have poured in for American rapper Chris King, who was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee. King was 32 years old.

He was friends with Justin Bieber, Trippie Redd and other musicians. The California rapper also lived briefly with Bieber.

The rapper, real name Christopher Cheeks, founded Snotty Nose Records and has released popular tracks such as like Evil Kunevil, Dallas And GOD OF THE WAR.

He participated in an attempted armed robbery while with friends; he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

King received waves of celebrity tributes on social media.

“I love you bro,” Bieber wrote on his Instagram Story, along with a photo of him and the rapper hugging. “This one hurts. Please keep his family in your prayers. See you in heaven, brother.”

Trippie Redd also honored King on his Instagram with two photos.

THE Topanga the rapper wrote:

“I love you until we meet again, twin! I wouldn’t be where I am today without [Chris King]. He introduced me [Elliot Grainge] & [Milo Stokes] and he always had the best energy; he had so many friends and it showed. I love you guys for supporting one of my best friends ever.”

Machine Gun Kelly commented on Trippie Redd’s post: “Chris was rare.”

Keke Palmer posted a photo where she faces King.

“Chris King! I wish I had more photos, but this is actually perfect because that’s exactly how it all started,” Palmer wrote in the caption.

“iChat sessions with you and Marcel back in the 2Much days. Wow. I can’t believe I’m saying rest in peace. This is terrible. I really don’t know what to say,” she wrote .

She added:

“I just want to share that I loved you and I remember all the walks around town, the times in the grove. That was my high school. When we were babies, before everyone knew you were a real rockstar. [sic]”.

“We were kids! And you always knew how to make everyone laugh. Your kindness was present no matter what room you were in; everyone was and wanted to be your friend. We will miss you until we see each other again, rest heavenly brother,” she continued.
