Kyle Sandilands announced his engagement to girlfriend Tegan Kynaston on his radio show KIIS FM on Monday.
Tegan’s enormous diamond engagement ring was designed by high-end jewelry store House of K’dor in Sydney’s Double Bay.
Following the announcement, the luxury jeweler congratulated the couple on their engagement.

It comes after another jeweler estimated Kyle spent at least $1 million on the design.
Tobias Kormind, managing director of Europe’s largest online diamond jeweler, 77 Diamonds, told Daily Mail Australia: “Tegan’s ring is an emerald cut diamond set on a split shank platinum band.”

‘[It would be] worth over $1.14 million for a decent quality diamond, at least F color, VS1 clarity,” he added.
Mr. Kormind, who did not make Tegan’s ring but studied photos of the design, noted that a key feature of the ring is the split shank, which is a style featuring a band that separates when it is worn. reaches the center setting.
“Split-stem rings are relatively unusual and Beyoncé is one of the few other celebrities to wear a split-stem ring, but [Beyoncé’s] is an 18-carat emerald-cut diamond,” he said.
“Split shank rings are very stylish and are actually safer,” Kormind added.
Kyle would have had no trouble splashing Tegan’s ring, considering he recently valued his business empire at around $100 million.
However, he said on air Tuesday that he had spent no more than $1 million.

It comes after Kyle opened up about his extravagant proposal on his first day back on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday.
Kyle explained he rented a venue and staged fireworks, candles and a lavish meal before getting down on one knee – but admitted not everything went to plan.
The shock athlete had arranged for singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell to arrive from overseas and perform the couple’s favorite song for their marriage proposal.
“But two days before the proposal, Conrad called me and he was very upset because he had caught Covid,” the KIIS FM host said.

“I couldn’t reschedule it because there were chefs, fireworks and I had rented a venue.”
Kyle decided to go ahead with the proposal without live music and told Tegan, 35, that they were going to a pop-up art exhibit.
“When we arrived, we walked out, I opened the door and they played Conrad’s song. There were candles and dim lighting,” he said.
Then, surrounded by candles and their friends, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Tegan to marry him.

After saying yes, they had a romantic dinner with Australian ingredients including crocodile, kangaroo and dried fig kafta.
To end the evening, the newly engaged couple watched a fireworks display with their friends.
