TL;DR
- New iPhone 15 Ultra details have leaked.
- The leak suggests that the next-generation iPhone could have dual front cameras.
- The leak also claims that the iPhone 15 Ultra could have more storage.
Although the iPhone 14 was only recently released, iPhone 15 rumors have been circulating, especially the iPhone 15 Ultra. A new leak suggests the phone could get dual front cameras and more storage.
Only a week ago we heard a rumor that Apple was planning to rebrand its iPhone Pro Max line to Ultra. Now we have another leak courtesy of tipster Majin Bu. According to Majin Bu, the iPhone 15 Ultra will bring a change to the existing iPhone design in the form of dual front cameras. What will this second camera be used for, everyone guesses.
This dual front camera setup may be one of the features that sets the iPhone 15 Ultra apart from the iPhone 15 Pro. The leak suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro will only have one front camera.
Another change Apple could make to its 2023 devices is more storage. The leaker says the Ultra model will come with a base storage capacity of 256GB. This year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max starts with 128GB of storage. As for the iPhone 15 Pro, the starting storage capacity could remain the same at 128 GB.
The final design change that Majin Bu talks about is a move to USB-C. However, this was already suspected given that the UK will require Apple to use USB-C for its handsets.
Of course, with any rumors, this should be taken with a grain of salt. But Apple tends to use a three-year strategy with its phone designs, so we might see something that looks a little different from the iPhone 14 in 2023.
