Final Fantasy VII remake was one of the best games to release last year. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I personally loved it. It was a perfect reimagining of Final Fantasy VII for the modern era. Everything from the graphics to the dubbing to the soundtrack was absolutely stunning. Honestly, I can’t think of a damn thing that could have made this game better. Except maybe for better door textures, since you know, that sucks. Still, the doors are not a big deal! You probably had a lot of fun playing Final Fantasy VII remake, to the right? Well, unless you are an Xbox gamer. Hope is not lost, however. The Final Fantasy VII Remake exclusivity for Sony ends soon! This week, in fact. I strongly suspect that we will receive an announcement at any time stating that Final Fantasy VII remake is heading to Xbox and PC. Hell, if we’re lucky, this could hit Gamepass. Sony just made it a PS Plus game, so who knows?
The Final Fantasy VII remake is just one of the many parts telling the story of the original 1997 Final Fantasy VII. During Sony’s latest State Of Play, it was announced that Final Fantasy VII remake would head to PS5 and also get new DLC! The PS5 version is called Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and the DLC will focus on Yuffie. It is important to note that at this point in the original Final Fantasy VII Yuffie had not appeared in the story. In fact, Yuffie was completely optional, so this new content will be completely new!
Gaming analyst Benji-Sales says their deal ends on April 10. After that, Square-Enix is free to do whatever it wants and port the FFVII Remake to whatever platform it wants.
FYI, Final Fantasy VII Remake PlayStation Exclusive Contract ends in 3 days on April 10, 2021
So, if Square Enix intends to bring this game to other platforms like PC or Xbox, they can start talking about it as early as this month. pic.twitter.com/3hZ7x8qMdL
