Several gargantuan transactions were noticed on the XRP register as 170.7 mln of this cryptocurrency was moving. At the same time, the XRP liquidity index has reached new heights in the Philippines and Australia, showing that adoption of XRP continues to grow.
This does not help the XRP price hike, however. At the time of this writing, the coin is trading at $ 0.2097 (according to CoinMarketCap), after diving with the other ten main coins, after the decline of Bitcoin.
170.7 mln XRP moves
The XRPL Monitor account on Twitter has reported several gigantic transactions in the third largest currency, XRP, between corporate portfolios and several crypto exchanges.
These were conducted in the past hours, totaling approximately 170.7 ml of XRP. This represents 35 357 188 USD.
The analytical site Bithomp reveals that these funds have been moved between digital exchanges, such as Coincheck, MXC, Bithumb and gate.io. Data on the rest of the transactions is available here.
XRP becomes more liquid
According to Twitter data, two ODL corridors have shown a significant increase in XRP liquidity. In the Philippines corridor, which operates via the Coins.ph exchange, XRP liquidity has surpassed the historic high of all time and now reaches 7,451,863 against 7,236,372.
The previous historic record also rose on the Australian stock exchange BTC Markets, where the XRP is trading against the AUD.
The current ATH stands at 6,338,609 against the previous record of 6,287,402.
On the two exchanges, only 54% of today’s transactions have been made.
The main XRP pusher sells its hiding place
Tiffany Hayden, a big XRP pusher, went to Twitter to let her subscribers know that she sold all of her XRP stock. The reason is, she says, as follows:
“I am selling assets that too many idiots hold.”
