The Bachelorette got her first kiss of the season at Wednesday’s premiere, with Brooke Blurton kissing Jamie-Lee Dayz hours after meeting on the red carpet.
The couple, who met during Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018, admitted at the first cocktail party that they have had strong feelings for each other since they bonded in the mansion three years ago.

Brooke explained that when they first met their ‘priorities’ were different as they were both focused on Nick – who ended up picking no one in the finale.
She admitted their relationship didn’t blossom after the cameras stopped rolling, but they still had a connection.
“It kind of never really played out in the outside world, but I think over the years that we had known each other there had always been a connection,” she said.
Brooke said she didn’t know Jamie-Lee would be one of her contestants and was really shocked when they got together on the red carpet.
“It was such a surprise,” she confessed. “I wasn’t expecting it, but it was kind of a nice feeling of familiarity and knowing that you already have a connection with someone.”
