This season of The Bachelorette made history, with men and women vying for the heart of Brooke – who was the very first bisexual frontman.

And while the season was a real game-changer, it unfortunately didn’t go very well in the odds.

Brooke’s season saw ratings peak at around 300,000 in all five capitals.

The Bachelorette premiere drew a pitiful 397,000 viewers on the subway, which rose slightly to 500,000 nationwide.

It bombed in all areas, underperforming in all key demographics.

By comparison, last year’s season with sisters Elly and Becky Miles saw 628,000 viewers in the subway, a 36% drop between the two seasons.

Earlier this month, Brooke’s season slumped to an all-time low, drawing just 249,000 subway viewers.

And it wasn’t just The Bachelorette that suffered this year, as Jimmy Nicholson’s season – which aired from July through September – recorded disastrous ratings throughout its run.

It had both the lowest viewership figures of the first season with 482,000 viewers – only “beaten” by Brooke’s first season – and the lowest final scores at 629,000.

Didn't hit the mark: The Bachelorette premiere drew a pathetic 397,000 viewers on the subway, which edged up to 500,000 nationwide
