Bachelor Locky Gilbert does not hide the fact that he is a passionate adventurer and wishes to share his love of the great outdoors with his future partner.
And a crazy rumor surfaced this week that Irena Srbinovska, who is the bookmaker’s favorite to win the show, pretended to use the hike to impress the former Australian Survivor star.
During Wednesday’s episode, the 31-year-old nurse told Locky that she enjoys walking in the bush in her spare time – but this was disputed by her rival Bella Varelis.

While Bella’s skepticism may have simply been the result of jealousy, her claim that Irena was dishonest about her love of hiking did not go unnoticed.
Former contestant Alisha Aitken-Radburn said on the official Bachelor Cocktails and Roses podcast on Thursday that she also doubts Irena’s sincerity.
Alisha noticed while tracking down Irena’s Instagram account that she had obviously shared two hiking-themed posts in May – when Locky and the women were all under lock and key and keeping in touch via Zoom, SMS and FaceTime.

On-site production of The Bachelor was suspended from March through the first week of July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Alisha suggested that Irena’s messages were a strategic attempt to get Locky’s attention at a time when 10 different women were trying to impress him.
She added: ‘I think she was doing a bit of positioning. You know, Locky is just home chatting about his future wife – we haven’t figured out exactly which one it will be yet – and if you see, you know … tick for Irena!
Skeptical: On Thursday, former contestant Alisha Aitken-Radburn (pictured) said on the official Bachelor, Cocktails and Roses podcast, that she also doubts Irena’s sincerity.

Hmm! Alisha chose this May 19 article which showed Irena climbing rocks in Mount Macedon, Victoria, as evidence that she was ostensibly trying to get Locky’s attention.
Alisha was quick to add, however, that Irena has photos of herself on country walks dating back several years, so her interest didn’t suddenly appear in May.
His podcast co-host, Osher Günsberg, added cheekily: “Nice work, Irena!
Irena is current bookmakers’ favorite to win Locky’s heart on The Bachelor, with Bella, a 25-year-old marketing consultant, nominated for second place.
