And as ratings continue to drop – from 482,000 to 360,000 in a week – viewers are complaining on social media about the “boring” episodes.
Fans have flocked to Twitter to share their brutally honest verdict on the show so far, including one who tweeted at the July 21 premiere: “Okay, I’m bored already.”

A third tweeted: “The Bachelor is definitely past its expiration date.”
A frustrated viewer said, “The bachelor received his lowest ratings ever. Is anyone surprised? This pathetic excuse for TV / entertainment is ridiculous! “

“After watching Beauty and the Geek, I have to say it’s so much nicer than The Bachelor,” they wrote.
Another had a similar opinion, tweeting: “The contrast between BATG and The Bachelor is ridiculous. I just want to see people be nice to each other and have fun. Is it so much to ask?

However, some fans have said they are enjoying The Bachelor season nine.
A favorable viewer tweeted: “This season of The Bachelor is absolutely top notch. Channel 10 really brought its A-game.
“Jimmy gives me vibes that I haven’t felt since Matty J, so I’m very happy,” added another, referring to Matty Johnson’s 2017 season.
It comes after The Project host Lisa Wilkinson said last week that Jimmy’s season of The Bachelor was “the best ever.”
