There are people who only go to Thanksgiving for the leftovers. We see you. And we get it.
You enjoy the joys of a cook once, you come close to eating twice, and after such a big vacation with so much food, that can easily stretch to at least three or four more meals. Turkey is the main culprit when it comes to managing leftovers, so we’ve combed through our archives to find some tasty and exciting options to help you use them. Plus, we have options for making the most of the other elements of the big meal, including veggies and cranberry sauce.
Before we get started, a few reminders: Perishable Thanksgiving dishes (turkey, many sides) shouldn’t be left at room temperature for more than two hours (less is better!). Use or freeze leftovers within 4 days. Oh, and have fun. With all the hard work you’ve put in for the party, you deserve it.
