Five-star Justin Edwards is as good a rookie as anyone else. Tyreke Key is a great pickup in the Transfer Portal. Jonas Aidoo and Uros Plavsic should develop further. Add in the return of Josiah-Jordan James, Zakai Zeigler and Santiago Vescovi with Olivier Nkamhoua healthy, and the Vols already have a strong core.
As a result, betting on Tennessee basketball to win the national championship could yield an incredible payout. They’re probably not the most likely to win it, but very few teams on this list have a better chance than them, as they should be in the top 10.
