Taylor Swift, who has never been shy about dressing as a walking billboard for her music, reflected on her “Midnights” era on Sunday night at the Grammys, attending the awards show in an ensemble two-piece set in sparkling navy blue.
Shine and glitter ended up being the theme of the evening’s red carpet, worn by everyone from (controversial) Album of the Year winner Harry Styles to Lizzo. And after the ceremony, Swift subtly transformed into second twinkling gaze.
In new photos, the singer, who hosted a Grammys after-party at Chateau Marmont, is pictured at the event wearing a teal sequin dress, throwing a matching fuzzy coat over the top in some images, as well as her boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s oversized black leather jacket in others.
Although Alwyn didn’t attend the Grammys alongside his longtime girlfriend, he did step out to celebrate afterwards. The couple were not pictured together in any of the photos uploaded by guests, however, a source spoke to entertainment tonight saying they stayed at the party until late together. “Taylor and Joe attended a Grammys after-party at Chateau Marmont last night. They stayed there late, had a blast and went wild,” they said.
Jack Antonoff, Lana Del Rey, Hayley Kiyoko, Troye Sivan and Fletcher also attended the party, alongside Swift and Alwyn.
In an interview with The Guardian in 2019, Swift opened up about why she and Alwyn chose to keep their relationship out of the public eye, saying she learned the limits of what she wanted to share with people in the context of fame.
“I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion and our relationship is not up for discussion,” she said. “If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it, but it’s just spreading around the world. This is where the limit is, and this is where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it manageable.
