Taylor Swift this week announced a new US stadium tour kicking off in 2023 and featuring 35 shows — and you might be in trouble (trouble trouble) get a ticket.
Driving the news: Swift’s tour announcement comes shortly after the massive debut of her new album, “Midnights,” and the week she made Billboard Hot 100 history by having a song in each of the top 10 spots. of the rank.
The last: Swift announced Friday that she had added eight new dates to her tour, bringing additional shows to Tampa Bay; Nashville; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Seattle; East Rutherford, NJ; Santa Clara and Los Angeles.

The context: The Eras tour appears to be centered around Swift’s recent albums — “Midnights,” “Lover,” “folklore” and “evermore” — as well as her classics, which she recently re-released after re-recording them.
- She has planned a tour for the 2019 album “Lover”, but it was postponed and later canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
- “Folklore” and “evermore” dropped during the pandemic, so she hasn’t had a chance to tour with those albums yet.

The plot: Tickets for the tour will be available for pre-sale from November 15 (with a Capital One credit card). Fans can register for pre-sale tickets on Ticketmaster starting today.

“Midnights” topped the Billboard Hot 100
The big picture: Swift made Billboard Hot 100 history this week by becoming the first artist to have a song in each of the top 10 spots, the music charting website announced Monday.
- All 10 tracks come from his 10th studio album, “Midnights”. She passed entertainer Drake, who had nine of 10 spots in 2021.
- Swift’s song “Anti-Hero” took No. 1 on the list.
- “Midnights” also became the most streamed album in a single day upon its debut.
