Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is finally here, but what about the rest of Taylor Swift’s re-recorded albums? Here are all the theories.
Taylor Swift re-records Taylor Swift, Intrepid, Speak Now, red, 1989 and Reputation but when will they each come out?
In November 2020, Taylor Swift confirmed that she had started re-recording her first six albums. Taylor made the decision to do so after a well-publicized dispute with music director Scooter Braun. In 2019, Taylor’s former label Big Machine Records sold all of his masters to Scooter. Taylor then opened up about her difficult relationship with Scooter in a Tumblr post.

Since then, Taylor said that his team tried to negotiate with Scooter to appropriate his masters. However, he sold Taylor’s recordings back to Shamrock Holdings and Taylor claims he’s still enjoying his old music. As a result, she chose to re-register the masters that she does not own (all before Lover) so that she officially owns her music.
Without fear (Taylor version) is the first to be released but here are all the theories on when she will release the other albums.

When will Taylor Swift be released 1989 (Taylor version)?
As it stands, there is no release date for 1989 (Taylor version) but fans are confident this will be her next re-recording as she has already revealed that “ Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version) ” will be featured in the new animated film, Untamed spirit, which will be released on June 4, 2021. A sample of the song has already been used in the trailer.
Taylor is also a big fan of numbers and 1989 add up to 27. 2/7 is July 2, which is a Friday, so it is possible that Taylor could release “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)” on June 4 as the first single with 1989 (Taylor version) a month later, July 2.
There are already rumors that Selena Gomez and Katy Perry could be on the album.
When will Taylor Swift be released Red (Taylor version)?
Again, there is no official date for Red (Taylor version) for now but fans think it might come out right after 1989 (Taylor version). Yes 1989 (Taylor version) comes out in July and Taylor is sticking to a three-month release schedule, red would be released in October, and Friday October 22 is the 9th anniversary of the day red originally came out.
Taylor said she originally wrote 30-40 songs for Red, so expect plenty of songs from the Vault to appear on this one.
I’m so convinced red (Taylor’s version) is coming on October 22 like it’s a Friday + the original album was released that day too, so it makes sense

When will Taylor Swift be released Speak now (Taylor version)?
As it stands, there are no concrete theories at the moment Speak now (Taylor version) will come out. It all depends on how much Taylor wants to space out the re-recordings. She cannot legally reissue Reputation until November 2022, so it seems likely that she will keep a few more albums for next year.
If she releases Intrepid, red and 1989 while in 2021, it is possible that she will drop out Speak Now, Taylor Swift and Reputation in 2022. If so, Speak now (Taylor version) could fall as early as January 2021.
Fans also believe Taylor teased this command with her Rolling Stone cover photoshoot on Instagram. She posted a yellow photo, a blue photo, a red photo and a purple photo from the set in that order and the colors seem to refer to the Taylor eras. Yellow is Intrepid, blue is 1989, red is red and purple is Speak Now.
When will Taylor Swift be released Taylor Swift (Taylor version)?
Again, there is no word yet on a Taylor Swift (version of Taylor) release date but we imagine it will keep its debut as one of the last re-recordings for fans. Our hypothesis is that it will come out in between Speak Now and Reputation so summer 2022 seems like a good bet.
When will Taylor Swift be released Reputation (Taylor version)?
There must legally be a five-year period before Taylor can release re-recordings of his albums. In other words, the sooner Taylor can release Reputation (Taylor version) is November 10, 2022. November 11, 2022 is a Friday, so we wouldn’t be shocked if it came out then.
