Of course, Swift wasn’t the only “climate criminal” on the list; Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Jay-Z placed 2nd and 3rd respectively, while Alex Rodriguez, Blake Shelton, Steven Spielberg, Kim Kardashian, Mark Wahlberg, Oprah Winfrey and Travis Scott made up the rest of the polluters (ironically, Kylie Jenner n never actually made the list).
In response to data released on his own wasteful flights, Drake also tried to set the record straight, telling fans that his three of his ridiculously short flights actually had no one on board, which didn’t help. not really mitigated the backlash.
The rich and famous don’t seem interested in cutting their emissions, only in making excuses for them; public access to flight data must be a headache – surely celebrities want to puke their shows in secret.
