Jack Antonoff, close friend and collaborator of Taylor Swift, did not hesitate to mention the name of Kanye West when he spoke of artists “too sensitive”.
During Tuesday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel live, Antonoff answered questions about her collaborations with a plethora of talented female artists such as Swift, Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey, and Lorde. Host Kimmel mocked Antonoff’s mostly female roster by asking, “Do you have anything against working with men?”
The Bleachers band member responded, “I find men to be very sensitive. There are two people that I think are too sensitive to even function and they are men and people in the music industry.” he shared. “The amount of sensitivity. It’s kind of like watching Kanye, like, oh my god.”

Antonoff didn’t stop there: he then shared what he would do if he ever came into contact with the rapper. “If I saw Kanye, I would go up to him and say, ‘Your diaper is so full! We need to change your diaper. Your diaper needs to be changed. This is a huge deal,'” Antonoff said, adding: “The truth is, I’m not that offended. I’m offended, but I’m not that offended. So I don’t like to play this overly offended character, I prefer to kind of troll.
The songwriter’s thoughts about West could stem from his long-running feud with Swift, dating back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. That’s where West infamously interrupted his acceptance speech, claiming that Beyoncé was the rightful recipient of the award.
West then sparked more controversy with his 2016 song “Famous,” with the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why?” I made that bitch famous (Fuck). » Swift publicly expressed her objection to the lyrics after the song’s release. West’s then-wife Kim Kardashian leaked a secretly recorded phone conversation between the two artists to prove Swift knew about the song.
