Last night, Taylor Swift received a special award at the Nashville Songwriter Awards: Songwriter-Artist of the Decade. “Writing songs is my life’s work and my endless hobby and thrill,” Swift said during her acceptance speech. “I am moved beyond words that you, my peers, have decided to honor me in this way for the work that I would still be doing if I had never been recognized for it.”
To accept her trophy on stage and perform her song “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”, Swift needed a sturdy outfit. Swift continued the edgy disco vibe she’s been channeling lately – a look she debuted at this year’s VMAs, when she wore glitzy Oscar de la Renta and Moschino dresses to announce her upcoming 10th album, Midnights. The final evening dress from last night was courtesy of Michael Kors Collection. Swift wore a sequined jersey dress from her Fall 2022 runway, and the dress’s sexy cutouts, asymmetrical silhouette, and shimmering sequins were ready for a night out at Studio 54 (if it was the 1970s).
