The All Too Well singer has recently come under fire online after a study, conducted by marketing firm Yard, found her private jet flights emitted 8,293.54 metric tonnes of carbon over the past seven months only. However, that doesn’t mean Taylor was in on it. “Taylor’s jet is regularly loaned out to other people,” a spokesperson for the pop star said in a statement. “Attributing most or all of these trips to him is clearly incorrect. The report, which takes its information from the @celebjets Twitter account, says Taylor’s plane has completed 170 trips and logged more than 22,923 flight minutes since the start of this year, which equates to nearly 16 days. Taylor isn’t the only celebrity to have come under fire for her perceived use of a private jet lately. Kylie Jenner has also faced backlash online after the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s 17-minute flight from her private jet made public by the @celebjets account went viral.
