Taylor Swift went out to dinner with several of her A-list friends on Monday at Italian restaurant Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria in New York City.
The Bad Blood hitmaker, 33, was joined by Barbie director Greta Gerwig, 40, after fans recently joked that women ‘saved the American economy’ – Greta with her film a billion dollars and Swift with her record-breaking Eras tour.
The ladies also dined with Laura Dern, 56 – who starred in Swift’s Bejeweled music video – and Batman star Zoe Kravitz, 34.
Swift looked stylish for the night, wearing a black mini dress with knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.
The singer finalized the look with a gray checked coat and a black handbag.

The ladies certainly had a lot to talk about over dinner, following the success of Swift’s current tour and the success of Gerwig’s Barbie movie.
Some Swift fans claimed the singer saved the United States from falling into recession, after the Eras tour reportedly generated nearly $5 billion in consumer spending.

Keeping the economy afloat: Fans of Swift and Gerwig previously joked that these ladies were keeping the American economy afloat thanks to their successful careers.

Meanwhile, Gerwig’s Barbie has surpassed Marvel’s The Avengers as the 11th highest-grossing film of all time at the domestic box office, with $626.1 million.
Barbie also grossed $1.416 billion at the global box office, giving it 14th place worldwide.
While the four could have discussed their impact on the U.S. economy, they also could have reminisced about the time Dern starred in one of Swift’s videos.
The Oscar winner even previously recalled how a young fan recognized her from the Bejeweled video, not her iconic Jurassic Park role.
She shared the hilarious anecdote on Jimmy Kimmel Live in January, recalling how she was at a friend’s farm in Oahu, where she filmed the original Jurassic Park (1993).
“I was coming out of their farm and there’s a ‘Jurassic Park Sights’ tour with a little sign saying ‘Welcome to Jurassic Park.’ And as I was after the beach and seeing our friends, we get in the car, and I’m standing right in front of the sign, and here’s a group of people.
“This girl runs up to me and says, ‘Oh, my god! Oh, my god!’ I was just like… ‘I just want to be with my family, let’s not make this whole Jurassic Park thing.’ [thing]“said the star.
“She says, ‘Aren’t you the girl in Taylor Swift’s video?’ ” Dern called the experience “amazing.”

She also looked forward to working with Swift, who directed the video and played Cinderella, alongside Dern, the evil stepmother, and the Haim sisters as the stepsisters.
“Taylor asked me, and it seemed like such an amazing moment. And I was amazed at what a great filmmaker she is, how prepared she was, how improvised and fun it was .I had the time of my life. So, it was amazing.
Swift also praised Dern, calling her “the coolest” for agreeing to star in the video.
The singer joked that she had Dern appear in the video by telling her that she had written a script for a scene in which the actress would call her a “tired, nerdy girl”, during her appearance in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October. .
“And she was like, ‘I’m depressed,'” Swift shared, adding, “She’s the coolest, she’s so funny.”
